Alumni and Parent Travel Program offers trip to Central America

The Office of Alumni and Parent Programs will sponsor "Rainforest, Reefs, and Ruins," an Alumni and Parent Travel Program to Belize and Tikal, May 30 through June 8. Professor of English Timothy Shutt will lead travelers through rainforests of birds, butterflies, toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds, and morpho butterflies. The Southern Cross will watch over alumni and parents every night, and a trip to the Mayan ruins in Tikal will be even more spectacular as the recently deciphered Mayan script fills in more details about the history of a fascinating culture. The trip will conclude on the beach, where the reefs are filled with fish as bright and abundant as the birds in the rainforest. Space for this trip is limited, so be sure to sign up early. For more information, including a color brochure, please contact Jill Dennis '92, assistant director of Alumni and Parent Programs, at 1-800-Kenyonc or dennisj@kenyon.edu.
