Karl J. Shefelman, New York City, informs us that he has been working as a story board and conceptual illustrator in the film business for almost twenty years in New York. He is in the process of developing two feature films that he wrote to direct. Karl writes, "It is a long road to get an independent film made." One of them, Looking for the Jackalope, was scheduled to be shot partly on the Kenyon campus this past summer (after the Josh Radnor film wrapped) but has been pushed to next summer. It will also shoot in New York and New Jersey over the course of the year. Just recently he shot a fundraising trailer for the film. Over half the cast and crew were Kenyon alumni. Karl's other feature film, The Hunters, is a much bigger project set in West Africa.
