BASEBALL

Record: 11-17, 6-10 NCAC
Recap: A soggy spring slashed the schedule and injuries ravaged the Lords' lineup during a season that never settled into consistency. Only eight games were contested at McCloskey Field, and the Lords placed fourth in the NCAC's East Division. Pitcher Tyler Dierke, a first-year, overcame the disruptions. He went 6-1 with a 2.92 earned run average and was named the conference's Newcomer of the Year.

GOLF

Record: Seventh place at NCAC Championships
Recap: For the second consecutive season, the Lords claimed seventh place at the conference championships, a three-round event that was held at Mount Vernon Country Club and hosted by Kenyon. Sophomore Jack Marra topped the Lords scoring chart with a championship total of 243, which was good for 18th place among all conference golfers.

MEN'S LACROSSE

Record: 6-8, 1-4 NCAC
Recap: A young Lords team struggled through an extremely difficult schedule and was forced to settle for a fifth-place finish in the conference. Five of the team's eight losses came to opponents that, at some point during the season, were ranked among the nation's top 25. To make matters worse, the Lords' top two scoring threats were lost to injuries. Junior midfielder Charlie Sayre ended the season on a high note, earning All-NCAC first team honors.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Record: 15-3, 5-1 NCAC
Recap: Simply put, the Ladies turned in the best season in program history. While setting single-season standards for wins (15), points (375), goals (259), and assists (116), the Kenyon women earned their first-ever spot in the NCAA Division III Tournament and picked up their first-ever tournament win (19-14 over Wooster) in the first round. Number 1-ranked Hamilton ended the Ladies' run in the next round, but that didn't spoil all the fun. Senior goalkeeper Chase Kreuter was named the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year and coach Meredith Buzzi was tabbed the conference Coach of the Year.

SOFTBALL

Record: 18-18, 7-7 NCAC
Recap: Veteran savvy and youthful exuberance came together for a .500 softball season. Senior outfielder Ellen Witkowski established Kenyon career records for batting average (.400), hits (177), doubles (48), and runs batted in (95), while first-year third baseman Jamie Samuel shattered the program's single-season mark for batting average (.468). At season's end, Witkowski was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America team. Samuel garnered a position on the All-Region squad and was voted NCAC Newcomer of the Year.

MEN'S TENNIS

Record: 20-7, 3-0 NCAC
Recap: The Lords captured a fourth straight conference championship and a ninth straight appearance in the NCAA tournament. The Kenyon men reached the Sweet 16, but then were eliminated by Trinity. Senior Michael Greenberg tied classmate Will VandenBerg for the most career singles wins in Kenyon history (81). Greenberg concluded his final season by going 1-1 in the NCAA's singles tournament and achieved the same result in the doubles tournament, where he paired with senior Charles Brody, the program's all-time leader in doubles wins (80). Both Greenberg and Brody were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Americans.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Record: 14-7, 3-0 NCAC
Recap: The Ladies took a second-place team finish in the NCAC for the fifth straight season. Junior Prita Kidder and first-year Amy Schlessman went on to become the first Kenyon tandem to be invited to the NCAA doubles tournament since Caryn Cuthbert and Katy Tucker made a showing in 2000. Kidder and Schlessman won their first tournament match to secure ITA All-America status, but then saw their run come to an end in the second round.

MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

Record: Ninth place at NCAC Championships
Recap: Senior Andrew Borrasso scored 13 of the Lords' 18.5 team points at the conference championship meet. He placed second in the decathlon and eighth in the pole vault. He also ran a leg on the Lords' fifth-place 4x100-meter relay team.

WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

Record: Seventh place at NCAC Championships
Recap: The Ladies tallied 54.33 points at the conference championship. That was the team's best output since the 2006 squad rang up 60 points. First-year Alexia Derkasch was the NCAC champion in the 100-meter dash (12.66), while classmates Julie Amfahr and Ramelle Brown turned in record-setting performances. Amfahr set the College mark in the hammer throw (99' 4"), and Brown matched the Kenyon record in the pole vault (10' 1 3/4").
