Jeffrey K. Mann, Winfield, Pennsylvania, reports that he is still teaching religious studies at Susquehanna University, and his second book, When Buddhists Attack: The Curious Relationship Between Zen and the Martial Arts, was published in the fall. Amanda Cotton McCrory, Huntersville, North Carolina, writes, "I am writing a book on Srimad Bhagavatam, an ancient Indian (Vedic) scripture telling the stories of Krishna and all His incarnations. The Bhagavatam goes hand-in-hand with the Bhagavad-gita and the Mahabharata; all are written in Sanskrit. It is totally fascinating! I am a practicing Hare Krishna devotee. Please contact me at amandacotton108@yahoo.com." Catherine McGavran Horning and her husband, Andrew, are happy to announce the birth of their son, Vincent James Horning, on December 21, 2011. Jennisen McCardel Lucas, Cody, Wyoming, reports that she enjoyed the summer with travels and reading for fun. She and her husband, Joshua, also made their biannual coast-to-coast tour as they visited friends on the East Coast and attended Jennisen's thirdgrade pen pal's wedding in Seattle. Jennisen has started a new job as the elementary librarian for Park County School District in Powell, Wyoming. Teresa T. Moro married Daniel Edwards in October 2011. Teresa is now back to being a full-time doctoral candidate and tells us if all goes as planned, she will finally be finished in early 2013. Teresa and Dan live in Chicago, Illinois. Thomas R. Oakes writes, "I have recently been promoted to associate principal at Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio. My son, Kenyon (five), started his first and final year of preschool. Unlike what I hear at my job, Kenyon ‘loves going to school!' My younger child, Marissa, wants to do everything her big brother does. At three years old, she does not understand why she cannot attend school too."

Jason E. Lott, Studio City, California, writes, "After twelve years of being a part-time lawyer and full-time actor in Washington, D.C., I have moved to Los Angeles with my lovely wife, Maureen, to do the same on the West Coast. I miss seeing East Coasters like Abby P. Fenton, but now live a few doors down from Adam H. Howard. It's almost like senior year all over again." Erin McDonald Oalican, Westford, Vermont, writes, "We are enjoying our newest member of the family, Evan Sean Oalican (one), so much. His big brother, Collin (seven), and big sister, Katherine (five), adore him. I love my two jobs as a mom and as an administrator for Vermont's ‘welfare to work' Reach Up program. We took advantage of the unusually sunny Vermont summer to get in lots of hiking, camping, and swimming."

Santangelo, Byesville, Ohio, writes, "My husband, Phil Kelch, and I recently purchased the Clough Pike Veterinary Clinic in Batavia, Ohio, a community just outside of Cincinnati. Of course, this meant another address change, but after living in my in-laws' basement for a month, we are settling into our own house with the dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. Learning to run our own business has been challenging, but we have a great staff to help us. For example, they are very good at reminding me when I've forgotten to hand out their paychecks! If you are looking for a vet, or just driving through the area, stop in and say hello."
